Bigots for Stroger? Slur-filled Flier Making the Rounds in Cook County Board President Race

Okay, let’s just dub this Racial Insult Week, go back to bed, pull the covers over our heads and wake up Monday with our common sense.

Seriously, what is going on?  On the heels of Blago’s belief he is “blacker” than Obama and Senator Harry Reid’s contention that a lack of Negro dialect is what helped then-presidential candidate Barack Obama into the White House, some overzealous Todd Stroger fans have lost their micky ficky minds.

There is no explanation for this absolutely insane flier circulating the city, apparently, via gang leader-turned-politico Wallace “Gator” Bradley.

Please click this Gapers Block link, look at this anti-white (and anti-common sense) imager/language and then let’s attempt to make sense of this madness.

Suffice it to say, these race-baiting fools had better thank their maker that “The Boondocks” (picture from the caustic cartoon) isn’t on the air right now.  They would be completely mocked for the muck-up to follow….

I know we live in a segregated city, and race has played an unfortunate role in the election of our officials…from all angles.

I’ve rolled my eyes at non-black politicians affecting the poise of preachers in predominantly black churches (cough, Blago, cough) and also at minority politicians attempting to leverage their skin shade as a sole reason to put them in office.  Whatever happened to a desire to serve and..um..I don’t know, ability?  Naive, sure, but still…

I cannot believe we haven’t progressed past the point of this idiotic “Democratic Slavery” flier.

It not only insults whites, by insinuating that an “Irish” person can’t serve as County Board President, but calls anyone who isn’t in support of Stroger all manner of old slave names from “Kizzy” to some kind of weird misspelling of Aunt Jemima.

Are you serious?  The Stroger campaign has said it has nothing to do with this cartoonish slur-fest, according to a number of outlets including gapers block, but let me tell you:

It needs to have something to do with it.

Stroger, I usually leave the political stuff to my good friend and talkshow host Garrard McClendon, but this message comes courtesy o’ the Kyles Files.

Call that flier-making kook up, as well as his buddies, and order him to get this race-baiting rubbish off the street, by broom if need be.  Unfortunately, it’s too late to get it out of my mind. Come on, Monday…please!

Thoughts?
